WHAT IF YOUR CLASSROOM COULD LITERALLY RUN ITSELF?
not only on your best days,
but on your worst days too

You're the teacher who cares about the students as humans first.
You're also the teacher who loves getting students excited about the content, proving to them that learning can be exciting and interesting.
And somewhere between the grading pile, the attendance emails, and the repeated directions... you started to run on empty.
SOUND FAMILIAR?

Your students walk in and know exactly what to do. They manage their own time and track their own progress.

You only have to give directions one time

When you have a rough day (a migraine, a bad night, low energy), your classroom keeps chuggin because of the systems you've built

THE SELF SUSTAINING HIGH SCHOOL CLASSROOM
Inside this mini course built for busy teachers, you'll learn the systems that will build a classroom that is self-sustaining, not requiring your energy to make the world go round
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

A DAILY ENTER PROCEDURE THAT STICKS
When students already know exactly what to do when they enter the room, you'll be able to spend less time chaotically corralling and more time meaningfully connecting.

NEW WAYS TO ORGANIZE YOUR ASSIGNMENTS TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR EVERYONE
When you have multiple preps, the way you organize your assignments can make or break the sheer amount of questions you get asked daily. Using these systems dramatically decreased the "What did I miss yesterday?" and "Can I have Monday's work?"

THE 10 minute solution to stop having to repeat directions
It's like having a teacher assistant answering all the repeat questions so that you are free to check-in with individual students, notice where reteaching needs to happen, all the things we wish we had time for.

A DAILY EXIT PROCEDURE TO PRIORITIZE CONNECTION
These strategies can be used as class closers as well as literally any time of the day or year to build community. You'll never look back and say "Gosh, I wish I did more KWL charts" but you might say "I really wish I made more time to connect" if you're not intentional about activities like this.

OKAY BUT...
I'VE TRIED CLASSROOM STRATEGIES BEFORE AND THEY NEVER STICK
This is my hot take: "classroom management" strategies are for elementary school. They work best in that world for a bunch of reasons including: the kids are younger and the students are in that room for the entirety of the day.
High school students (and teachers) need an environment and built-in systems that keep the classroom chuggin' when 30ish students enter the room every hour.
It took me 6 years but what I've built isn't a "classroom management hack" that requires you to put marbles in a jar or think of a weekly prize. This course will help you build a classroom model that is made for high school students and easy for you to "set it and forget it."
My school/district/admin is different. i'm not sure if this will work in my specific context
I get it. You might be on block schedule, or have a mandated curriculum, or teach 5 completely different preps. This is exactly why you do need to explore these strategies. They can be altered to fit your curriculum. They can be adapted so that your admin is impressed at how you implemented classroom strategies with the needs of your context.
I DON'T HAVE TIME TO COMMIT TO A DAY LONG TRAINING ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE I HAVE ON MY TO DO LIST RIGHT NOW
This entire course is self-paced with short video modules (we're talking less than 15 min videos). It would take you less than 2 hours if you watched every single video AND browsed all the bonuses in between. Everything I create for Deeply Human Teaching is made with the teacher in mind first so that means you can implement it as slowly or immediately as you see fit.
